After installing iTunes 11 I was a bit disappointed to find that some of the features available in previous versions appeared to be missing. Anyone suffering similar disappointment might be interested to read the nbcnews.com/technology/gadgetbox story " How to use iTunes 11's new features (and bring back the old iTunes look)" . I followed the tips in the paragraph headed “” Yes, you can get the old iTunes look back (sidebar and all) and now have my old favourites back.
I have yet to update to iTunes 11.0.1.
